​Preface​

I chose the  Bahamas as my country because I like beaches and bodies of water.   I was born in the Bay Area in San Jose, CA.   When I lived in the Bay Area my family often took weekend trips to the  beach. The Bahamas is famous for  white sand beautiful beaches and the clear warm turquoise water.   I have always wanted to visit this country and check out the  beaches.

There are  many things I would like to learn about the Bahamas.   The one thing that really interests me is why it is such a big tourist  attraction. Another thing I would  like to learn about the Bahamas is what transportation is used to travel from  island to island.  I am very  interested in the types of sport activities that are available in the Bahamas,  and which sports are more popular.​
